Recently, the construction project of Nanshan theme park with total investment of RMB 3 billion yuan was started in the east of Nanshan Scenic Spot. This project includes Nanshan Entertainment World, Water Paradise and so on. After completion, it will contribute a lot to the tourism industry of Nanshan. It is the first large theme park in Shandong Province integrating US Disneyland with Korean Everland Resort, and it fills the gap of surrounding tourism. This is another important measure of Nanshan Group to construct the tourism industry of new pattern and unique features with brand-new thinking.
In the following five years, Nanshan will focus on further improving its popularity and influence both at home and abroad based on present achievements, invest RMB 12 billion yuan to build a group of key tourism attractions and spots including Nanshan Theme Park and Yantai Great Nanshan Tourism Project, exert itself to build a circular tour area connecting Nanshan, East China Sea and Yantai, and forge a strong tourism brand of Nanshan. Then Nanshan tourism industry will have larger scale, higher grade, and more reasonable tourism structure, forming new pattern of tourism integrating culture tourism, green tourism with industrial tourism.
