Nanshan Scenic Spot is one of the first AAAAA scenic spots granted by the state and composed of Religious Culture Park, Chinese Historical Culture Park and Offshore Tourist and Holiday Area.

The Nanshan Buddhist Temple, Perfume Nunnery, Nanshan Taoist Temple and Lingyuan Taoist Temple in the Religious Culture Park are relics of Jin, Tang dynasties. The largest tin bronze sitting Buddha in the world-- Nanshan Great Buddha (38.66m high and 380t heavy) and the largest indoor jade Buddha (13.66m high and 660t heavy)—Nanshan Medicine Buddha Jade Buddha are two high lights in this scenic spot. The Nanshan Huayan World which is under construction includes Five-Dhyani-Buddha Palace, “Medicine Buddha Carol” Music Fountain, Prayer Corridor composing of 108 prayer wheels, etc. After being built up, it will be another religious culture sight in Nanshan Scenic Spot.

Chinese Historical Culture Park is the only large thematic Park in our country built according to the order of dynasties with historical culture as longitude and propitious culture as latitude in China. Supported by Chinese main dynasties’ architectural complexes of different styles in different periods, through large amounts of historical materials and physical goods, it vividly shows the general trends, important cultural relics, significant events and representative figures of Chinese history of five thousand years and fully exhibits the broad and deep Chinese civilization and splendid national culture as a vivid general history.

Donghai Offshore Tourist Area has a coastline of 20km long and the developed projects include Offshore Golf, the Moon Bay Bathing Beach, Offshore Yacht, Offshore Fishing, Recreation Villa and Coastal Forest Oxygen Bar.
