Established by Nanshan Group in 1989, Nanshan Bilingual School is a boarding school combining kindergarten, primary school with high school. It is directly under Longkou Education & Sports Bureau, composed of 4 departments, i.e., Kindergarten Dept., Primary School Dept., High School Dept. and Tourism School Dept. At present, the school has 5000 students and 290 teachers.
With “led by scientific research and based on quality to highlight features and strive to be top grade” as its guideline and “closed management, open teaching and all-round education of people” as its features, Nanshan Bilingual School firmly holds the education service idea of “Students are our master and their parents are our king”.
The school stresses English and takes the lead in implementing bilingual education reform in Longkou. Besides, it has foreign teachers for years.With correct education direction, advanced teaching facilities, scientific and strict management and excellent teaching quality, the school gains great popularity and support from all circles of the society. In the teaching work appraisal for successive five years, the bilingual school has won the No. 1 for three years and No. 2 for two years in the city.
